ROBBIE KEANE and Martin O’Neill already have something in common this season.
Both Irishmen have enjoyed success over Ibrox opposition.
During his first spell as interim manager after replacing Brendan Rodgers in late October, O’Neill guided the Hoops to a 3-1 win in the Premier Sports League Cup semi-final at Hampden the following month.
Keane followed that up with a 2-1 Europa League triumph over Danny Rohl’s Govan outfit in Budapest in December.

EUROPA EUPHORIA…Robbie Keane leaps in delight after Ferencvaros’ 2-1 win over Rangers in Budapest in December.
Ironically, the Republic of Ireland’s legendary striker is also the bookies’ favourite to follow O’Neill as Celtic’s next team chief.
Keane, who has also had a title-winning stint in Isreal with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2024, has now spoken openly on his future plans.
The 45-year-old coach said: “I have ambitions and everyone wants to get to the highest possible level they can.
“I’m very lucky that I’m at a top club in Ferencvaros. Of course, there are other bigger clubs, we all know that.
“Ferencvaros is a top team in Europe and that’s why I went there.
“I am at a high level in terms of what I am doing and what we achieved in the Europa League.
“I am already at a big club, but if I don’t have ambitions to go to the highest level, I might as well stop.
“If I don’t believe I can get to the top, there’s no point being a manager.”

Keane, speaking in a report in the Scottish Sun, added: “Don’t always think that you are happy to stay here even though you could stay for 20 years.
“Always think you can reach even higher, because that drives you on — that makes you a better manager.
“I always have to believe I can go to the very top and win a lot of trophies.
