It has been a long wait but consistent with Celtic’s typical managerial appointment times (Neil Lennon first got the job on 9 June 2010, despite already being in temp position).
The chapter of our history on Angelos Postecoglou now begins. I’m only slightly annoyed they didn’t announce it at noon….. Ange has delivered success beyond expectation wherever he goes. That will be difficult to achieve at Celtic, where expectations are stratospheric, but hope in our hearts, and all that.
Strap in, it’s going to be a blast. Best of luck, Ange.

I’m pretty excited and positive. New man is in, some of our players with be out to impress at the Euros so our new man gets a look at them early.
Trading will be key as we don’t seem to have many youths ready to step up – could be wrong there – but hopefully we get players whom Postecoglou wants to put in the team regularly and we form a strong first 11 and style in the Summer games.

One is Baku in Azerbaijan and the other is Hampden in Glasgow. Both willing to put their population at risk to gain brief exposure on the world stage and wave their respective flags.
Hampden has a local infection rate of 274 – Wembley’s rate is 55. To enter Wembley you need either proof a current negative lateral-flow test, or, proof of full vaccination….. at Hampden you need nothing and you could be drinking every other day in the week at the 6000 capacity fan zone.
However, if you are a parent of a nursery age child, or, a school child, you are banned from open air end of term activities.
