Credit to STV, who at least called Uefa to ask what was going on, and got a taste of the correspondence, with the carefully chosen words, “Rangers’ three-year exclusion from playing in Europe after going into liquidation was the major factor in a case not being pursued”.
Uefa’s correspondence to the Requistioners was far more explicit on the new club/same club point, and took no cognisance of other matters (5-way Agreement, anyone?).
It’s remarkable (and a credit to all involved) that Uefa responded to the Resolution 12 questions over two weeks ago but news didn’t leak. It’s simply not been possible for the guys to comment while matters progress, and despite yesterday’s ‘news’, they have avoided the temptation to fire off a response (others have also felt it imprudent to step into a public debate) for what remains an issue under legal guidance.
I know the lack of public information is frustrating (as is the associated flack, b.t.w.), but my best recommendation is that we let them get on with it.

I don’t watch anyone playing apart from Celtic, so i didn’t have a clue how he liked to set his teams up and was wondering if we would be seeing a lot of the wingers or not, or even that diamond formation again?
Cannae wait for us to get playing again to see how things look so have to settle for trying to pick a wee virtual team in my mind and cannae do that not knowing which formation it will be!

At the end of last season I was about to call it a day going to watch Celtic only because of the incessant cheating perpetrated by SFA and others.
Although I was heartened by the energy and dedication that was put into fighting for the rights of us ordinary supporters By the energy shown by the Fabulous four,maybe plus others ,they fought our corner against unscrupulous and downright cheating in our game here.
The news lately has been heartening, At least UEFA has commented on what is the rights, and the wrongs of what has been happening in our game up here, Maybe the resolutioner’s have struck gold, maybe the game will get a thorough clean out, New SFA definitely required, Referee’s, (preferably from a foreign land). MSN just keep on ignoring them, Yes things may get better, I hope so.
I wouldn’t like to go through the same next year,I seriously was calling it a day,thanks to the Fab Four I thought again.

It’s brilliant that we will be playing to full houses next season. This is like a second chance to get things right, let’s grasp it.
Entertaining football must be a priority, and we must be adventurous in planning the match day experience.
For example I would like the club to engage with hotels and various music venues to offer fans the best that Glasgow can offer. Pre match entertainiment should be innotive and possibly the Celtic way could be transformed into various family entertainments. ? The ladies team should play some games at Parkhead prior to games and we should try to liaise and possibly gain useage of the impressive Emirates facilities next door.
I know the pubs in the Gallowgate will do what they do best, but as a club and a support we should leave no stone unturned in order to offer the best fans the best match day experience.
