THE ROCKETING VALUE OF HOOPS TARGET

CELTIC target Ismaila Soro’s value has rocketed THREE HUNDRED PER CENT since the Hoops showed an interest.

The defensive midfielder was rated at £1million during the summer transfer window, but the Hoops have been told they will have to splash the cash if they hope to land the Bnei Yehunda midfielder.

Soro has been watched by the champions in recent months, as reported in CQN.

And his club are now looking for £3million for the 21-year-old tough-tackling anchorman with the Israeli club’s manager Yossi Abukasis insisting they won’t allow him to leave them on the cheap.

He told the Daily Record: “We will only sell Soro if we get an offer which matches our valuation.

“We know what he is worth. We know there is growing interest in him and a lot of European clubs have watched him, even just this week.”

Soro, who has previously played for clubs in Moldova and Belarus, still has 18 months left of his contract.

Reports suggest Hoops scouts have been impressed by the youngster, but may look elsewhere after his valuation soared to its present level.
