That foul was conceded in the perfect spot for a free kick taker; you could read the script on how momentum would switch the moment it was awarded.
Attackers are primarily there to exploit opponents weaknesses, Tom Rogic, Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie combined to do this and put Celtic two ahead in the San Siro. Tom came close on another occasion, Callum McGregor had a gilt-edged chance and having got himself into the perfect position, Jeremie Frimpong froze with Milan at his mercy. We could have been out of sight.
There is a team in this squad. The formation looked right. Frimpong seemed liberated from his normal wide anchor, Rogic worried defenders before tiring; in particular, I was impressed by the way the ball was accurately bulleted across the field.
Oh, and we cannot defend for buttons. I was chastised by a 16-year-old after the game for talking up the relative merits of this performance compared to Ross County. Apparently there is a rulebook for defending two goal leads away to tier one teams, you defend like Ross County and close the game out. But we don’t know how to defend like Ross County. Imagine that!
What I will say is, they fought for their manager last night, Commando Christie in particular.

SFTB- I really don’t get why all clubs dont sell the games on a PPV basis. I get the bit about trying to protect ST Holders to an extent, but it’s a chance of revenue.

Was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and she was saying that her brother and his partner moved from London a few months ago to a house they had bought in Duns,Never heard of it so i googled and looks like a lovely little town / village, small world.

its not like spain where barca and Real own the broadcasting rights to their own home games
Bada, I think Sky agreed a concession this year because of Pandemic but in a normal year, I think they have the rights, in UK & Ireland.
That is why Celtic TV can’t show games live , in UK & Ireland
BT are showing games at 3pm on a Saturday because there is no fans in stadiums , (well very little now) 3 pm live matches where frowned up son due to effect on fans attending other matches so we shouldn’t have a problem at the moment

Enjoyed that programme on Channel 4 about Glasgow, especially the bit about the famous Glasgow Celtic. Even though I, and at least 3 generations of my family before me lived and mainly died in the East End, I didn’t really realise fully how bad the living conditions were in the 19th century especially.
Thank God for Br Walfrid. I don’t know if I even would be here today, if my grannies hadn’t been among those for whom we were founded.
