NEW Bhoy Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first goal since March when he thumped in the stoppage-time penalty-kick winner in Celtic’s 2-1 triumph over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park yesterday.
And the Nigerian striker smiled: “Hopefully, there’s more to come!”
Iheanacho was on loan from Sevilla to Championship side Middlesbrough in the second half of last season when he last netted in a 2-1 victory over Oxford United at the Riverside.

But the 28-year-old UEFA deadline-day arrival didn’t hesitate when the Hoops were awarded a late spot-kick after referee John Beaton adjudged defender Lewis Mayo had handled a close-range shot from James Forrest.
With Daizen Maeda already removed from the action some 20 minutes earlier with Iheanacho taking his place, a decision had to made quickly for someone to accept the responsibility.
