I’m beginning to believe some of the ‘Unseen..’ paranoia that goes around town myself. Absolutely delighted, and a bit surprised, Fifa ratified John Guidetti’s transfer to Celtic. He’s a player we have tried to buy for three consecutive summer transfer windows; this guy has been watched, courted and pursued by Celtic, Feyenoord, Ajax and no doubt a whole lot more.
Since his marquee season in Rotterdam he’s come through debilitating illness but is now healthy, if in need of some match sharpness.
He is ineligible for the Europa League group stage but will be available for the round of 32 through to the final in Warsaw.
There was a real meeting of minds between player and club on Monday; he liked the way we went about our business and people at the club were impress with his personality. Apparently, he’s another “strong character” to add to the others who have arrived at the club over the last week.
If only we had a song for him….

Didn’t get any replies to my question earlier on the last article, did any other ST holder who bought the 3 game package for the EL group games get told it will be on the ST. No tickets sent out. I don’t mean free on the ST, but your ST will be activated for entry. I find this strange. I paid for the tickets.

I got my EL package today. I was able to have my own seat but the lady serving me told me that tickets were being sold on a first come, first served basis. My seat was still available. I don’t know if that helps.
I was offered tickets for the game on Sunday and the Hearts League Cup match. I had to decline both. I got the impression that sales for both were sluggish.

I presume your a ST holder. I never got my own seat, in the main stand rear, but still got the main stand. Are they closing the top tiers, if you are a ST holder was your ST activated or are you getting paper tickets sent through. I cannie get ma hied roon this. :-(

Is a rough translation: Guidetti may prove as good a signing for Celtic as Larsson but he won’t replace the Greek Ghod. Sounds more like Summa of Sammi than Wim Jansen to me. Either way, if he contributes anything approaching what Henrik or Gorgios have done, he’ll do.

Guidetti and Berget may not even be around come January.
I have to say though our recruitment department is amazing. Only they could have controlled to absolute precision our recruitment which looked like a chaotic shambles including delving into the human slave trade for an evening with Scepovic. A 6 month loan signing for a sick note is more than compensation for the tens of millions lost by being unable to score against Maribor at Celtic Park having been already been given a get out of jail free card. Bloody lot of moaners on here.

I have no idea whether Guidette will be a good signing for us, but it is heartening and exciting to see how eager so many of you are for his signing to be ratified……even IF it is so you lot can sing the Cadette song again!
I am as ignorant of him as i am of Scepovic, but do you know what…….this line from the Serb’s interview is THE thing that has got me excited.
