THIRD TIME LUCKY IN INVERNESS?

CELTIC could face a THIRD trip to Inverness when the SPFL fixtures are announced within the next 48 hours as the league splits for the run-in.
The Hoops have struggled against Caley Thistle in their two previous games in the Highland capital this season, losing 1-0 in August and drawing 1-1 at the weekend.
However, the unwelcoming prospect of a third game against John Hughes’ side at the Tulloch Stadium is a possibility. Caley Thistle could be one of the away games with Dundee and St Johnstone also in the mix.
Aberdeen’s win at Kilmarnock yesterday confirmed the top six with Dundee replacing Motherwell from last season. Ronny Deila’s men are due to play two home matches after the split, the first round of fixtures coming on the weekend of April 25 and 26, and three away games to produce a 19-19 split between home and away matches.
Trips to Aberdeen and Dundee United will balance out the fixtures while the champions, as well as playing in Inverness twice on their travels, have already visited St Johnstone twice and will complete two games at Dens Park when they take on Paul Hartley’s Dundee a week on Wednesday.
During the last SPFL campaign, the Hoops played three home games against Caley Thistle which would could sway the decision to send them on a trio of northern trips.
Perhaps it might even be third time lucky?
