Whatever ‘good news’ Duff and Phelps come out with later, or ‘Rangers to benefit from Miller withdrawal’ you read about tomorrow, not one piece of positive news has gone Rangers way in weeks.
This is a dead football club. If there was an accountancy term beyond liquidation, perhaps uber-liquidation, they would be uber-liquidated (there’s not, but if this gets any worse the English language will need some re-work).
Yesterday’s delay was the most complete confirmation possible, for anyone still harbouring doubt, today’s message from Miller should be no surprise to Celtic Quick News readers.

A Celtic ‘minded’ chap I know (he is not a supporter as such but wishes us well) keeps asking me, every time there is a new bidder (in fact he has been asking me since Whyte took over) ‘what’s the story? are they saved?’ and I have ever increasingly answered him – it’s all Bull plop, give it a week or two and you’ll see.
And I have been right every time. We have been right every time. When this all broke (them owing mega sums and being bust) we all thought they would get away with it. Our experiences, our so called paranoia (which turned out just to be excellent perception) led us to conclude that they would fall in the Clyde and come out with a Salmon in their pocket.
But as time has gone on, as they have lurched from farce to farce, crisis to crisis and back again, made up story to made up story, excuse to excuse and on and on and on some of us, most of us have started to get past the belief that they are untouchable for one reason: the cold hard facts.
