“We had to rely on Leigh Griffiths to score and, to be fair, most of the time he did. Now we have Griff coming off the bench. Moussa Dembele is scoring and leading our line really well.
“Look at Gary Mackay-Steven as a good example. He hasn’t been seen all season, but came on for his first game against City and was fantastic.
“He created chances, almost scored, looked positive and enjoyed being back in the Champions League in a Celtic jersey.
“The manager has made me better, as well – tactically, in particular. I’m playing the best football of my career right now.
“I sit down and analyse the game for myself now. I’m not just running and chasing the ball – blowing my energy by 70 minutes.
“So, I’m turning into a half-decent player. It’s only taken me 15 years!
“For me, it’s about enjoying football again, coming in with a smile on my face. I’m playing alongside top quality players for a top quality manager. And he wants to play the game the way I’ve always believed it should be played.
“I’ve enjoyed every moment of this season so far. Being back in the Champions League, that’s why I signed for the club – you want to play in big games.
“Our fans in Manchester on Tuesday night were louder than City’s supporters for 90 minutes. That shows what it means to them, as well.”
