It has been two weeks since Celtic Park’s last outing as a football venue. From this week, it becomes a socially=distanced dinning location for around 250 people, including frontline NHS staff. The Celtic FC Foundation’s initial response is to provide £150k to stock local foodbanks and support charity partners in their efforts to cater for out most needy in this time.
For the time being, Celtic is no longer a football club; it is a source for good to a community that needs it, just as it was in 1888, when the first ball was kicked. No other club is Britain has responded with the same resources or vision, but no other club has our heritage.
Today, most of us are concerned about our immediate families and there is nothing wrong with this. But some people are ‘out there’ in our name. There may be little you can do for this effort today, but we will have the opportunity soon enough. Be proud of your club and know that, as Celtic fans, we have a social responsibility, otherwise, what’s the point?

I have been out for a couple of hours on the bike this morning. I am able to cycle without ever being anywhere near other individuals.Likewise, I can go out walking and always be many yards from anyone else.
Also, and this is crucial, I don`t just think that because I think it is OK to participate in certain activities, then it must be so. I have time to look at the possibilities then act accordingly.
I feel I am not making my point very well here. Roughly, I am saying that if scientific research shows that certain activities are OK, then they are OK to pursue.. Otherwise, stay at home and wash your hands !
At the moment spending a lot of time in the garden which is great when the weather is like it is today – when it’s raining that’ll be another story.

Going by this morning’s pictures on TV,I really fear for the UK.Shocking pictures of the London Underground.Packed in like Sardines.I know people are worried about money,but I just don’t know what the answer is.Maybe if we had a Government with some kind of leadership,instead of a buffoon who’s rise to power was just repeating,”Lets get Brexit done”there might be some hope.Going by their performance so far,I doubt it.

Lockdown should not include being outside for exercise.
Sorry guys it just gives cart Blanche to some idiots who have not exercised in years to go outside and socialise.
Complete lockdown needed unless for essential shopping and chemist, even then only 1 person at a time from each household carrying ID with proof of address on it to try and stop groups out walking to shops together, next step would be to queue up 2 metres apart at shops.
Total no nonsense approach needed, I know I will get shot down in flames but those are my thoughts and I also recognise issues regarding mental health, but what is the alternative…. A horrible death and I am not belittling MH or I do not mean to.
