THREE AND EASY FOR ODSONNE

ODSONNE EDOUARD took his goalscoring tally to nine for the France Under-21s with a fabulous hat-trick in the 5-3 win in Slovakia last night.

The elegant striker has now scored as many goals for his nation in four games as he has all season for the champions.

Edouard claimed two in the opening 35 minutes and completed his trio with nine minutes to go.

It has been a startling step up to the international stage for the Celtic frontman who made his debut at this level this year.

The bad news for the Parkhead side was the fact there were a host of scouts from Europe’s top clubs at the match and they couldn’t have failed to have been impressed by the forward who cost the Hoops £9million when he arrived from Paris Saint-Germain last summer after an original loan period.
