WONDERBHOY Kieran Tierney refused to get carried away with his first Premiership medal – and his debut goal – for Celtic.
The 18-year-old left-back enjoyed the title celebrations at Parkhead, but said: “As a team, it could have been better and we could have won bigger games.
“But, on an individual basis, I am very happy with what I have achieved.
“It’s definitely a dream come true. I couldn’t have imagined anything like this a year ago.
“My goal was very special because I scored it with my right foot. I don’t think I had kicked a ball with my right foot all season!
“Now I will keep working hard in training and in games.”
Tierney also paid a tribute to Honduran international Emilio Izaguirre whose place he took in the first team.
He added: “I have to say Emilio has helped me immensely.
“I wouldn’t have been playing in the first team if it hadn’t been for the tips he has given me.
“I owe him a lot.”
