Motherwell travel to Celtic Park tomorrow on a mission. A win would see them draw level with Celtic, and after a physically and mentally draining Champions League midweek game, they will fancy their chances. Inverness remain top of the league on goal difference, but this is the third consecutive season Motherwell have tucked in below Celtic. They will not finish above Celtic, of course, but this is likely to be our toughest test of the season.
As well as the result, there should be other objectives from tomorrow’s game. We are eight games into our European campaign but our two most expensive summer signings, Teemu Pukki and Derk Boerrigter, and still to settle into the team. Both should start against Motherwell.
For reasons you know too well, I thought it would be a good idea to do the Great Scottish Run on Sunday in aid of 1254125. I have (just) setup a Mydonate page, if you have been unable to participate in any event so far, you can do so online now.
Many thanks for your support.

Your first two links did not open for me. I want to know what my former schoolmate and Gweedore man is writing these days.
Just a thought.
Neil Mochan,jr may well have picked up more in one night from the club than his Dad ever did…..

Didnae open for me either. So I went into the site to find it.
Gonna stick needles through my eyes next time I’m tempted towards such stupidity.
As an experienced clinician I’m often asked ‘Doctor,in the light of major breakthroughs across the whole medical spectrum, is it possible to say that ole sawbones clever cloggery has finally produced a cure for ‘Rangersitis’?’
‘Yes I say, take this big case stuffed with other people’s money and go off and live in a castle in France’.
Just listened to Wednesday’s shortbread podcast where Peter Grant really tears into Scott Brown. What is it about former Celtic players when on media duties? It’s as if they actually enjoy giving us a kick or advise of their expectations.
Really disgusted with Peter but on this performance he’ll soon find himself with a regular gig on BBC Scotland since there appears little interest from anyone in getting back into football.
Yet another soup taker.
Give me WGS any time. Still don’t think I’ve ever heard the wee man criticise us unfairly – quite the opposite. He always looks to talk us up.
Celtic minded, that wee guy sure is.

Thomas Fla again wrote two other books in that trilogy – The Tenants of Time (Fenian uprising to Parnell) – and The End of the Hunt (1919 – 1923). They’re really good too but I thought The Year of the French was the best. RTE did a film or series of it but I’ve never managed to find it.

This wouldn’t by chance be the same Peter Grant who ‘stamped’ on a Rapid Vienna player who was lying on the ground in the Celtic Park game in 1984 ?

It seems to have been co-commissioned by Channel 4,but never shown here. Strangely enough….
Defo gonna have to read it again, then get the rest of the trilogy. By the time the others came out originally,I had less available time.
Got plenty now,so no excuses!

I just did as you suggested. I have never read his works before though I knew the man when he was a boy. My initial view is that Tommy remains quite uninformed about the context up here but seems to have a personal and/or professional animosity towards Phil Mac Giollibhain (and Roy Greenslade).
Either way, in his attempt to be christian and caring towards the new Rangers, he has mistaken the ground he is walking on.

Not good for my bp.
But you knew that already, you naught bhoy.
Back to youngster coming/ not coming through.
Someone mentioned about the lack of a reserve league.
Would Celtic be able to put a reserve team into the English league or would that be fraught with difficulties?

Not knowing the man as you do,I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
Some may call it ambivalence-which has been perfected by a certain C4 journalist recently-or it may simply be a lack of research.
Difficult to criticise people in the latter case,as much of the material for research is strangely not available.
This means that to outsiders,we are two sides of a coin, one as bad as the other, etc. I hear this all the time down here. And the only available stats back that up,worse, articles continually use those stats to the extent that truth is hidden by a snowstorm of seemingly informed obfuscation.
These people aren’t deliberately telling lies, but they are guilty of spreading disinformation, however unwittingly.

Very kind, and I expect no less on here. Had KITALBA mentioned The Whiteboys a coupla days ago,I would have bitten yer hand off.
Sadly, duty calls, and back in Swindon now.
Plus, not sure I would have been able to fit them in my case-the first one alone was like War and Peace!

Need some help.
Trying to donate on the MyDonate site but when I log in on their site I can’t find the CQN 1254125 charity.
When I use the link from this article I find it fine but when I try to donate it stops me with an error message on P2.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Is Brown banned for one game or three games in The League of Champions?
Agree that we should give Kayal and Biton more game time.
Thought Charlie Mulgrew was excellent the other night. Plenty of running and kept the ball whenever he could. Unlucky with header. Deserves his place in there for now.
HH
Good to see the unwarranted criticism of ole Efe hasn’t affected Celtic or him.
You always know Celtic have a player when the DR wades in.
They slagged ole Sammi as well now nobody can get the ball off him, including us.

I think it is one game wit the the ruling body reviewing the incident, so theoretically an increase is a possibility.

I didn’t think Charlie had a particularly good game to be honest. I think that showed a few times in his frustration at himself, but only my observations.
