Time for the war face, Celtic

399

You can be sure that pretty much everyone at Celtic Park and Lennoxtown has been walking around with a smile on their face since Saturday. The players have delivered enormously this season and now have a few weeks to prepare for a cup final which could deliver the treble.

Before then they face one of the league’s most professional sides. St Johnstone were the last Scottish team to beat Celtic and can still eye the possibility of finishing third.

They will win at Celtic Park if we pitch up with anything short of a focussed and on form first team. I know the cup final is the priority, but we are five games from an incredible achievement.

  1. Re the bigot pound debate

I watched 8000 at ibrokes circa 54000 at Celtic park and links to countless supporters clubs round the world dance on sevco football grave this season and relish rubbing their imbecilic noses in their own misfortune.

    I loved it.

I lost a very good friend who will be in Heaven CSC loving it because he knows the pain their cheating caused him and I. Revenge is a dish best served cold and it looks to me we are not even at the main course yet.

Let them sink slowly in the sh1t they created

    Just my opinion.

  2. Thomas Coupland: Wonderful debut post. Fàilte go Teach nan Gealt.

CorkCelt: You are definetly not a prat :-). I like the crest for next year. Much more appropriate than the five cigarette holes on Soft Loans Co. jersey.

    They shouldnt even exist.

    Just my opinion.

  4. THOMAS COUPLAND….

After the sad news of the Barca mole and BRTH’s post about his friend Joe, your post fair lifted me reading your post.

I’ve not had the chance to get on much of late but I’m sure your posts will be a great addition.

Hopefully, catch up for a few beers in Lisbon. HH

No. Palpable. Not palatable either. Their existence I mean. But if you need someone to hate knock yourself out.

    My honest opinion mate.

I was at Ibrox on Saturday and I bloody loved it!!!!

I know what liquidation means and I know that the Club we beat 5-1 aren’t ‘Rangers’. However, I was subject to the same anti Catholic and anti Irish abuse that I’ve received every single time I’ve been to that stadium.

    Celtic, always CSC

  8. Sadly we have lost a few really good Tims in recent days , RIP to them all.

But today I would like to welcome a new wee TIm into this world my Grandson born at 12.30am this morning already dressed in green and white Shay Joseph .HH

  9. THOMAS COUPLAND, great post enjoyed that, i think i need to go visit my auld man to get him to retell his version of events from the glory years.

    Enjoy Lisbon

I’m not disagreeing with you about enjoying humiliating them and the sheer bliss afterwards but in my opinion as Celtic supporters we should rejoice in their total deserved obliteration. They are the main vanguard of bigotry in Scotland. It will come back to bite us one day. They should be dead. We dont need any Norwegian Blue parrots. :)

To a large extent I think we’d agree on why this ghost even exists.

White elephants trump blue parrots! :-)

  14. Haven’t checked various Leagues but just looking at how good the Juve defence is checked Italian League, they have conceded just 22 goals in 34 games, one better than Celtic.

I doubt if too many others would match that average,

Another target for Celtic to beat, look out Juve.

Tommy C that was a great post even although you have told me most of that before by e-mail. It was a joy to read – it is what supporting Celtic is all about.

Speaking of that, can I just say a big thank you to all who have bought raffle tickets today. Raising money to keep our heritage and history alive, as in St Mary’s, is very important.

It is even more important to do something to alleviate hunger, poverty, starvation and misery which is why many of us try our best for Mary’s Meals and the work that they do. So thanks to everyone you will really have made a difference.

Mind you the Whisky, Vodka and Port on offer are from the top drawer.

I was at Celtic Park today and they have erected a stage and sound system at the top of The Celtic Way.

If I didn’t know better I would say we are in for a party of some sort!

Here is the Raffle link again, and please note that it runs to 17th May!

Try grabbing the right end of the stick. I’ve said consistently since I first posted here that they’re dead, a new club, and that I wanted that clearly acknowledged by Celtic. If I ‘need someone to hate’, why would that be my view?

You on the other hand have said Sevco is Rangers, don’t kid yourself etc.

Yet in a recent post you referred to Rangers as having been liquidated.

You’re all over the place on this, mate, but, as far as hate goes, I’d be happy if there was no club playing out of Ibrox, or paying tribute to one that once did.

At least I’d be able to attend games away from the fantasy world of the SPFL and SFA.

  17. Evening all.

Been a wee bit busy recently but I had a wee thought there watching Juve v Monaco. I used to get worried sometimes when I saw a substitute coming on for us. Could he offer anything, I might wonder to myself. Not anymore. I have no worries about any of them. Each and every one who comes on as a substitute can improve us in some way. Must be one of our best squads ever.

My auld Dad was still rejoicing over Saturday today but still thinks the Lions were the best ever. His words to me after the game were “marvellous, really marvellous.”

No Im not. The company is liquidated. Rangers are in the SPL and play at Ibrox. Any Celtic supporter who thinks its not rangers playing out of Ibrox is deluding themselves.

Think of it as a holy trinity.

The father, the son the Holy ghost.

The PLC, the club, the supporters.

Or 3 musketeers if you like.
