Time for the war face, Celtic

399

You can be sure that pretty much everyone at Celtic Park and Lennoxtown has been walking around with a smile on their face since Saturday. The players have delivered enormously this season and now have a few weeks to prepare for a cup final which could deliver the treble.

Before then they face one of the league’s most professional sides. St Johnstone were the last Scottish team to beat Celtic and can still eye the possibility of finishing third.

They will win at Celtic Park if we pitch up with anything short of a focussed and on form first team. I know the cup final is the priority, but we are five games from an incredible achievement.

“Its a Witch Hunt”are the cries from Munter Media.

Yes, you are! The club and company were incorporated in 1899. If the company is liquidated, which you admit, then so is the club.

As BBC Scotland explained back in 2013, in answer to a complaint:

“A football club, once incorporated, is indistinguishable in Scots law from its corporate identity.

“If the club was separate it would need its own constitution, committee members, trustees, etc.

“Rangers Football Club does not have that because it is incorporated.”

The Zombies are deluded, not Celtic supporters who say, correctly, that Rangers died in 2012.

    Anything else is just bullshit.

  3. Voguepunter. Interesting that STV comment about an ex-altar boy. ITV covered the same story but did not mention that he had been an altar boy. Only in Scotland!

The Roman Catholic church is not the only church were people are used as “altar boys” many christian and other faith churches do the same thing.

I only mentioned it after he had finished drawing his wee diagrams to explain the whole situation.

The 5 Way Agreement was signed two days later and Sevco Scotland became a club able to play Brechin in the Pawnbrokers Cup.

The SPL share once belonging to Rangers had gone to Dundee, club 12.

That Wednesday night there was no Rangers in any league.

That Wednesday night there was no Rangers as a member of the SFA.

That Wednesday proves there was no continuity.

There was no club called Rangers to play the game against the Fife juniors.

The club founded in 1872 couldn’t fulfil the fixture as they had, among other things lost their SFA membership.

The off the shelf company set up by Charles Green couldn’t play the testimonial because they weren’t a club. By the Friday night the new co were a club and played their first ever game at the start of the journey.

Fair to say this was an argument that was unexpected!

  17. Winning Captains

Or you can have Monaco with their tax ways or Real Madrid and Barca and their massive debts apart from the German and English teams none of them exactly play fair :O)

  21. Beatbhoy

A stitch up was signed on the Friday night for commercial reasons. This 5 Way Agreement is regarded with great suspicion by even the Sevco Rangers supporters.

It created the myth of continuity and after that date the MSM has gone along with it.

Basically they are the same club because that is what suits the suits.

The Kelty Hearts game is however an uncomfortable truth.

  22. I’ve been reading online about the racial abuse dished out to Scott Sinclair. None of this surprises me as I’ve always known that Scotland is a sectarian, racial and cultural backwater. It’s always just below the surface and usually expressed in casual anti-Irish (and other forms of) racism. If Scott Sinclair had been playing for another club against the huns, would he have received racial (or any kind) of abuse? Probably not. The fact is that this is a BOGOF – 2 x types of racial abuse in one. Firstly, he is black. But the real problem for the huns is that he plays in green for a club that is Irish in origin and expression. That’s the real driver.

As well as being a racial crime, this is also a sectarian crime. Nil By Mouth is a well-named organisation. They say nothing. They receive significant funding from the Scottish Government (most recently £80k). That tells you all you need to know. They will NEVER call this kind of behaviour out. It would embarrass the Scottish Government who prefer a narrative of Scotland being a great wee country where everything is just hunky dory. If people can’t see the lies here then they are blind. Either way, I’d rather my tax dollars were spent on organisations that actually fulfil their remit. Nil By Mouth’s strategy of equivalence is not only factually incorrect, it is also morally flawed and counter to their reason for being. Sad thing is that they were formed as a result of the horrific murder of a young Celtic fan. The guy who now heads them up must simply be a con artist. I can’t think of any other explanation….

  23. Winning Captains

Well, it joins Sevco playing in the early rounds of the Scottish Cup 2012-13, Naismith etc walking away with no transfer fee, and Andrea Traverso’s letter then.

The truth hurts. Well done on keeping it highlighted.

  24. THE_HUDDLE yes iagree uefa is completely corrupt and if i had my way i wouldnt play in their tourneys, they have set up the final they want

Scotland is a strange place, it positions itself on top of the mountain and looks down on other countries, especially it’s favourite punchbag England. The amount of backslapping that goes on is mental.

There is zero self awareness up here, they don’t realise that England is the more developed and progressive country.
