ANGE POSTECOGLOU rated goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi so highly he brought the former Spurs prospect into Celtic squads preparing for Champions League games.

The 21-year-old prospect will spend this season on loan at third-tier Dunfermline after a deal was struck between the clubs yesterday.

The former England Under-20 international netminder is relaunching his career at East End Park after injury derailed his temporary transfer spell at Admira Wacker last term.

AYR WE GO…Tobi Oluwayemi shakes hands with Brendan Rodgers during Celtic’s 1-1 draw at Somerset Park last month.

Oluwayemi had five shut-outs in his first nine outings with the Austrian outfit before fitness issues halted his progress.

He made an appearance for Brendan Rodgers’ side in the 1-1 pre-season draw with Ayr United at Somerset Park, but has now fallen to fourth in the pecking order behind Kasper Schmeichel, Viljami Sinisalo and Scott Bain.

The athletic shotstopper becomes the champions’ fourth loan exit this summer following Marco Tilio (Melbourne City), Kwon Hyeok-kyu (Hibs) and Dane Murray (Queen’s Park).

Argentinian left-back Alexandro Bernabei agreed a season-long switch to Brazilian outfit SC Nacional in March while Republic of Ireland Under-21 striker Johnny Kenny will continue at Shamrock Rovers until the end of November.
