ON-LOAN Aston Villa winger Aleksandar Tonev will be given game time in Gran Canaria, according to coach John Kennedy.
The Bulgarian is currently serving a seven-match ban after being found guilty of racially abusing Aberdeen defender Shay Logan.
Tonev was handed the suspension by the SFA, but can play in friendly matches against PSV Eindhoven and Sparta Prague.
First team coach Kennedy said: “He’s part of our squad albeit he’s serving a suspension just now.
“If he’s eligible to play in these games, then we’ll certainly look to use him for fitness and to keep him going.
“The training time will be very important for him at this stage.”
