Myburgh said it appeared that King would rather face arrest than comply with a British court order that he disclose his assets. The state believed he did not make that disclosure because he had sources of income elsewhere in the world.
Investigations revealed that in 1998 and 1999, King had transferred R1-billion from the sale of shares from South Africa.
He has never denied that there was money in his bank account in London, enforcing the impression that he had funds available.
Myburgh said a second fraud investigation was under way against King, but if it led to further charges, these would be tried separately.
King earlier alleged Sars had stopped him from concluding a plea bargain with the prosecution, but Myburgh said the prosecuting authority had consulted with Sars and then decided not to accept the plea bargain.

I can confirm that our players weren’t booed at all ….
So I did not hear booing on Wednesday night.Funny that,because there has been great discussion about it on other blogs.We get beat 1-0 at home to St Johnstone,and some on here saying it was the ref who was being booed!!!!!.I can see Broony telling VVD,”Dont worry,its not us they are booing”

How could you possibly confirm that? I would say that the numbers who booed ran into hundreds and I know that many around me who did were booing the team because of the words they used prior to or added on to their booing.

There was booing when the 2 mins injury time was announced (shoulda been 6 mins). Unsure who was being booed at full time. A few Tims in the LL stand applauded and booed at the same time. I was there and I am still confused. :)
And so the circle is almost complete down govan way, and whats changed from the tax dodging, bill avoiding days?? Not a great deal.
Back to the same old board members, spouting off about challenging Celtic, Euro football, ‘back to where we belong’. Nothing about respected, honourable, law abiding even.. and where are the SFA and the Scottish media, where are there questions?? Where are the probing journalists that hounded our CEO when we announced our record breaking sponsorship deal with NB?? Nowhere!!
