OVER 4,000 Celtic fans will be at Anfield on Saturday afternoon to watch the stars of yesteryear come out for the Legends’ Charity Match against their Liverpool counterparts.

A stirring rendition of both club’s anthem ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ will reverberate around Merseyside at 3pm as Kenny Dalglish, a superstar for the Hoops and the Reds, oversees the kick-off.

Former Celtic captain Paul Lambert will take charge of the team ably assisted by another ex-skipper and current club ambassador, Tom Boyd.

Stiliyan Petrov will captain the side and Mikael Lustig, Joe Ledley, Emilio Izaguirre and Robbie Keane are just some of the other names who will proudly be pulling on the Hoops once again.

Long-time Celtic admirer Trevor Sinclair, the former England international, is also about to make his debut – at the age of 50.

The one-time exiting raider played for West Ham, Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City, but it will be on Saturday when he finally fulfils the dream of performing for the team of his dreams.
