Uefa get tough on non-payers

Not before time but it’s good to see Uefa get to grips with clubs which fail to pay their dues.  Malaga, who are still this season’s Champions League, have been banned from European competition the next time they qualify.  In the event they win the competition this season, they would join a short ignominious list and become only the third team in history to be banned from defending their trophy by the European governing body. Think of the shame.

Eight other clubs have also been barred from Europe for a season, including our very old friends, Vojvodina.  The message is simple, pay your bills!!!

    I know a Glasgow Celt who’s lived in Scandinavia for many years.

    Thinking about the ole Scottish Workers Republican Party, right through to the 70s the ole Red Star communist clubs were still thriving, and I’m reliably informed oor tax money was still being wisely invested in subversion of our “mental commie friends”.

    HH fella. RW went mental simply cos he was right. I’m a DG fhan, but I also know that RW is one of those folks too sharp for the rest of us. He handled it well – better he fell out with everyone and did his own thing rather than flaming shot himself.

     

     

    Hope you get what I mean – his words need to be heard.

     

     

    When anyone gets this, it makes the ole Pink Floyd stuff of the 70s all the more impressive – words and music. “Dogs” says it all or me.
