BRENDAN RODGERS has proved to be unbeatable in the Scottish Cup.
The Celtic manager has an impeccable record in the national competition with 19 wins from the same amount of games.
As he prepares for Sunday afternoon’s quarter-final against rejuvenated Hibs at Parkhead, Rodgers can reflect upon three Scottish Cup successes over his two stints in charge of the champions.
The 52-year-old Irishman first lifted the silverware in May 2027 when Tom Rogic claimed his memorable late winner in the 2-1 triumph over Aberdeen.
PRIZE GUY…Brendan Rodgers celebrates his first Scottish Cup success after the 2-1 win over Aberdeen at Hampden on May 27 2017.
A year later, Rodgers was celebrating again following a 2-0 victory over Motherwell following strikes from Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham.
On the iconic date of May 25 last year, it was Adam Idah who was the goal hero when he snapped up the clincher in the fading moments against Philippe Clement’s Ibrox outfit.
No doubt Rodgers has the date May 24 – scheduled for this season’s silverware showpiece at Hampden – circled in his diary.
