UNIQUE ANGLE: KYOGO HAUNTS LIVI

KYOGO FURUHASHI has punished Livingston twice with crucial goals in successive Premiership triumphs in West Lothian and Glasgow.

Back on October 30, Celtic’s pacy striker was on target to open the scoring in the 3-0 win on the plastic pitch at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

On that occasion, the Japanese international hitman netted with a whiplash left-footed angled drive in the ninth minute after great service from Greg Taylor. Goalkeeper Jack Hamilton was left clutching fresh air as the effort hurtled in at his right-hand post.

BY THE LEFT…Kyogo Furuhashi thunders a shot past Livingston defender Ayo Obileye to open the scoring in Celtic’s 3-0 win in October.

Last night at Parkhead, it was the turn of Russian netminder Ivan Konovalov to pick the ball out of the net.

On this occasion, Kyogo raced to the opposite post to time his run to perfection to first-time a drive into the net after an excellent low ball from the right by Liel Abada.

The strike is worth another look thanks to the good folk at Celtic Unique Angle. Enjoy!
