STEVEN McLEAN will be the man in charge of Celtic’s Scottish Cup Final against Dunfermline at Hampden on Saturday.
The experienced referee will be assisted by Frank Connor and Scott Anderson on the touchlines.
Matthew MacDermid will be in the VAR studio with Gary Hilland serving as his assistant.
McLean was the man in the middle during the VAR red card storm when Auston Trusty was dismissed in the champions’ 2-2 draw with Hearts at Tynecastle in January.
The whistler originally booked the USA international central defender after a coming together with Landry Kabore in the 73rd minute with the visitors leading 2-1.

YELLOW FEVER…referee Steven McLean books Celtic defender Auston Trusty while Alexandros Kyziridis screams for a red. Unfortunately, after a VAR review, the Hearts forward got his wish.
The home players surrounded McLean as they urged him to take sterner action and John Beaton, in front of the screens, ordered a touchline review of the flashpoint.
After a glance at his monitor, the match official returned to the pitch, scrapped the yellow card and produced the red to banish an astonished Trusty.
Derek McInnes’ side equalised through Claudio Braga in the 87th minute to deprive the Hoops of a crucial victory.
Fans at Hampden will be hoping there is no requirement for MacDermid to get involved in the Scottish Cup showpiece.
