VIDEO: GOALS GALORE: NEW BHOY FURUHASHI SHOWS HIS CLASS

CELTIC’S new striker Kyogo Furuhashi wil prove to be a knock-out with the fans – if video clips of his finishing skills are anything to go by.

The Japanese hitman is seen scoring goals with both feet and his head as he demonstrates the qualities that prompted Ange Postecoglou to bring him to the Hoops.

The 26-year-old Japanese international completed the four-year contract this morning and could prove the answer to the new manager’s prayers.

It’s still not certain about Odsonne Edouard’s intentions as he enters the final year of his contract and the French striker could be the main man for the Champions League qualifying kick-off against FC Midtjylland on Tuesday.

Albian Ajeti, who scored a goal in each of the wins over Sheffield Wednesday (3-1) and Charlton (2-1), limped off in the second-half of the scoreless stalemate at Bristol City in midweek.

Leigh Griffiths’ future is unclear, despite Postecoglou activating the remaining 12 months of his terms before he was sent home from the club’s pre-season camp in Wales last week.

Furuhashi, who has scored three times in six outings for his nation, was top scorer in the J1-League with 14 strikes in 20 games this season.

Ironically, that is DOUBLE what Griffiths claimed throughout a wretched campaign for the individual and the club last time out.
