WWS raffle updateCelticRollerCoaster and the Walk With Shay team kindly wrote this piece to update you how your efforts thus far have progressed.  I read stuff like this in genuine awe of the people I call friends.  Well done to each and everyone one of you.

I posted a more detailed (and excellent) read on the subject a moment ago, which you can view here.  Here’s CelticRollerCoaster:

As you know by now as part of our incredible journey to date, we managed to obtain the signatories of the last 11 Club Captains of Celtic on two tops; one home and one away. Two very special and unique tops covering 53 years of unbroken history. The professionally designed and framed Away Club Captains top is First Prize in our Walkwithshay raffle along with many other amazing Celtic prizes, with the draw being made on May 25th at Celtic Park so only 20 days left. The Celtic FC Foundation will also benefit in the share of proceeds.

To date, we’ve had an incredible response from all over the country and indeed worldwide (as far as Australia and Bermuda believe it or not) with just over 2,000 tickets already out there being sold by our amazing Green Raffle Army and directly by ourselves, but don’t worry we’ve kept some back just for you!

So, if you have still not bought your tickets, to win some of the incredible prizes on offer and also help these two great causes, please get in touch now.

Remember you can buy tickets by contacting the campaign team directly via the usual methods such as email walkwithshay@yahoo.com, Facebook and Twitter @walkwithshay or from one of our many Green Raffle Army sellers.

We will also be at outside the pools office at the start of the concourse (CQN corner) from 1:30pm prior to the game on Saturday if you wish to pick up tickets from us then.

McGill says he was told by a QC the case could be fought, until side letters discovered when he said “you have to pay”

Why they had to pay is where LNS starts to unravel. “No question of dishonesty” said his Lordship in relation to failing to tell SFA of side letters.

    Really?

What is emerging is a tale of dishonesty to great to be ignored.

  5. I remember the shameful Mark Walters racial slur and fortunately the Celtic support has come a long, long way.

SMSM are running a Sevco whataboutery scheme to cope with the charges at the same time raking up old racism, as hard as they consistently have to rake up old Rainjurs.

They should look up Celtic’s Paul Wilson and ask him how he coped with the racism in the 70’s, because nobody did back then.

This weeks SMSM coverage has little to do with racism its more about the mythological ‘old firm ’ a label of convenience re-invented in 2012.

If only the Sevcs had stuck with the good old fashioned sectarianism, they appear to have bought along with the history, they’d have been able to concentrate on their other chronic failures.

  6. Top story in DR ,

Rangers are ready to spend significant money on summer rebuild and will splash out £1m on a player if he is right

Pedro Caixinha has presented his summer wishlist to the Ibrox board and says the investment plan “is not a small amount”.

God we Celts are in big trouble…..If the Huns spend £1 MILLION ….they will get half of a joey Garner for that !

I hope we are witnessing this whole house of cards falling ?

While whatever unfolds during Whyte’s Trial MIGHT not bring all that we want, and all we hope for , even at this early stage and what has been said and admitted so far, will surely lead to at least some joy for clubs and fans that have been cheated, on and off the pitch ?

When McGill admitted to DF today that they hadn’t carried out ” Due Diligence” of Craig Whyte prior to the sale, I distinctly remembered many Hun fans and McCoist and other ex staff stating that The SFA had shirked THEIR duty, by not providing “Due Diligence” of Whyte……….again yet another example of THEM blaming everyone else but THEMselves.

    Good evening,

Any ideas what happened at the Dorchester?

    From today’s trial tweets

Sorry have to read from bottom up.

    Hail Hail

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

Mike Mcgill- there was a negotiation. DF- why not do due diligence on repeat Whyte. Mike Mcgill – we had no reason to

    2h

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

DF: Sir David described it as sacred ground. When it came to selling something dear to the heart of sir David you’d do everything

    2h

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

Mike Mcgill – it was a formal meeting. We had fed into Sir David his plans. He’s not going to be able to knock down the stadium as listed

    2h

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

DF: might he have asked why am I finding this now Mike? Mike Mcgill- yes. At stage of meeting it was not at stage of signing documents

    2h

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

DF: a fiasco? Mike Mcgill- not sure I’d describe it as a fiasco. He learned of plans and didn’t go ahead with it.

    2h

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

Mike Mcgill- not there. Aware of it. DF said the papers were there to sign but it emerged it’s going to be knocked down to build flats.

    2h

    David Henderson @DJSHenderson

DF- were you at the Dorchester when it all went wrong? Mike Mcgill- not sure i understand you

  15. Fed up reading about the politics on here, especially since every man and his dog know thatchers love child will stroll it in the next election and make us more miserable.

So I put Clyde on , bfdj pinning his hopes on some rich Arab coming in….fair cheered me up.

  16. Serious but Funny Note ( I will tease a little) …for now.

I once bought a season book for Celtic Park ( late 1990’s) for the princely sum of £9.

Admittedly, there was ONE voucher missing, which had been used for the first home game that season.

The seat was in the Upper North Stand….full story to come later

  19. I love Beer, Wummin and Celtic…..not maybe in that order ?

I would imagine that the GRIFFBHOY is just bursting oot of his new Celtic Jersey to rattle in as many goals as possible before and DURING the Cup Final !

If he does, Moussa ( even if fit ) may find it hard to get back in the starting line up ?

    Ticket distribution for the Cup-final.

Surely that lot at Hampden will issue Aberdeen’s tickets in tranches ?

I’m pretty sure even less of them will fancy this trip than they did in the League-cup final.

  26. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Evening all.

Ordinarily I am quite sanguine about the behaviour of the media – for the most part they are a bunch of half wits who are slowly killing themselves.

I hold the BBC to a different standard – funded lavishly by the public – they should do much better than the others.

Reporting Scotland just ran a story about Torbett being charged – throw the book at him BTW.

They showed an old but very clear picture of him then, quite unnecessarily, showed a grainy group photo containing, among others, Jock Stein.

The inference is obvious and blatant.

Any notion of editorial integrity and control at BBC Scotland is a joke.

Pandering to the BJK mob to gain brownie points and regain access to an unsafe stadium is despicable.

To BBC lurkers – we’ll remember this.

    Hail hail
