Waste management in Buckinghamshire

868

News that a new company, “Glasgow Rangers Limited”, has been registered today with an address matching a waste management company in Buckinghamshire, has delicious irony but in itself means little.  After Rangers owner, Craig Whyte, laid out all sorts of medium-term scenarios for the club in media interviews last week a land-rush for fresh rangers intellectual property, including a company name, should be expected.

If those with secured property rights over Ibrox are busy forming a new company, they are unlikely to be the only ones.

Still, waste management.  It’s perfectly scripted.

If things do come apart, and the huns fold in the next few days, just think how ugly their ‘protest’ at BBC could potentially become.

They’ve shown how they behave when a TV screen breaks, imagine the chaos if their whole hideous institution crumbles.

  3. Can any of our Northern Ireland posters help me to trace the source report that this PA release refers to?

    PA:

New figures on the religious breakdown of Northern Ireland’s prison population have shown that a disproportionate number of Catholics are behind bars.

A major review that recommended overhauling the prison system, also raised concerns over the monitoring of inmates’ religion, race and disability.

Figures compiled for the report showed that while Catholics make up 44% of the general population, around 55% of inmates are drawn from the Catholic community. The report said it could find no clear explanation for the disparity, but said it may be the case that there are higher numbers of Catholics among younger age brackets in Northern Ireland.

The figures showed that 56% of prisoners in Hydebank Wood Young Offender Centre were Catholic, while 54% of prisoners at Maghaberry prison were Catholic, with 56% of inmates in Magilligan being Catholic.

Prisoners held on basic privileges, as opposed to enhanced status, were also more likely to be Catholic with a 74% figure for Hydebank, 66% in Maghaberry and 82% in Magilligan.

The report found: “Overall, Catholics were also disproportionately represented in matters relating to prison discipline – adjudication, use of force and segregation.

Since I had to pay a wee fee to use the zoomerang survey/poll website I have also now created a wee survey (4 questions) to gather the views of as many supports from as many Scottish clubs as possible re. Rangers FC 2012 and direct entry back in to SPL if/when the exist Rangers FC experience a liquidation event that sees the death of Rangers FC 1873 to 2011.

Please pass to friends/relatives/other football clubs supporters websites via facebook, twitter, email, txt etc.

    Take the survey

    Good Afternoon,

And so– The game is afoot…………….

Of Course the benefit of an English Based Company is that you cannot arrest funds in England through the Scottish Courts in the manner that has happened thus far……… Though I wonder if an English based company can apply for a licence to play football in Scotland?

Then of course someone might just be making mischief…………..;-0)

  9. Paul67 – Been reading up on this in the past hour. I don’t think this is like back at the start of the internet where people were cyber squatting. It seems you need to have a connection to a brand to be able to register a company name including it. The example I read was you cannot walk in and setup Coca Cola Fizzy Drinks Ltd. Companies House will say no.

I know there are strict rules about including territories in your company name, and checks are made, would be surprised if this is some guy taking an IP punt particularly as there are now new laws, like the cybersquatting ones, that means you will be forced to change the company name.

just playing devils advocate, but if the huns did go to the wall and the club voted against a quick readmission into the spl do you think the fans would understand and accept the reduction in the budget that would have to follow. would they appreciate it as being a decision that was made with the fans wishes rather than commercial concerns as its primary motive and appreciate what it would mean for the team on the park and the business we could do in the transfer market

Checking out these new co’s, it appears that it is a guy called Graham Duffy with an address in Florida who is the registered director.

Other companies include Global hybrid roofing and Grantly group.

Anyone know the name and if he has association with the chancer or other orc directors/exdirectors?

Both Formed today, incorporation documents are not yet available online.

You can form a company online in minutes.

The automated system does some basic checks but they are very limited. Once past the basic checks it doesn’t mean you’re home and dry, there is ample legislation to allow a company to object to the name of the younger incorporation. Importantly here however is that if the original incarnation is to suffer an insolvent liquidation then who is there to object? The new owner now has the name.

Man I hope it is a Tim who has registered these names with a view to objecting to the use of the name by a newco. Timing is everything.

    Curiouser and curiouser.

My guess is it’s just a front office, sounds like a upmarket name but it’s in the middle of Cressex Industrial Estate, which is a large multifunctional estate (or Business Park as we call it these days), it has everything from Waste management:-) to NHS facilities.

Lincoln Road – Like many of the Roads in the Estate was named after a WWII bomber, as they’re redeveloping the old units some they are using upmarket names – obviously named after Lincoln’s Inn the famous Barristers Chambers in London

Can’t find any Solicitors, Accountants or the like at the address but will check it out:-)
