News that a new company, “Glasgow Rangers Limited”, has been registered today with an address matching a waste management company in Buckinghamshire, has delicious irony but in itself means little. After Rangers owner, Craig Whyte, laid out all sorts of medium-term scenarios for the club in media interviews last week a land-rush for fresh rangers intellectual property, including a company name, should be expected.
If those with secured property rights over Ibrox are busy forming a new company, they are unlikely to be the only ones.
Still, waste management. It’s perfectly scripted.

Back in ’94 when our £6m debt nearly drove us out of business, the then powers to be were rubbing their hands at us disappearing for good. Fast forward to now, and you’re 100% right, they will do anything to make sure that the Huns stay around in some shape or form and more than likely in the SPL. Something ain’t quite right, it all seems to easy now for the Orcs to go belly up…far too easy!

I recall seeing Bernard Ponsonby in there on a Sat Morning before a home match.
A republican flute band would play.
He would sit in the corner reading his paper and supping his pint.
He seemed a very contented individual.

Call me a doubting Thomas, but i can’t see the Huns going under. Something just doesn’t seem right about all this, and it smacks of desperation on our part that we hope for it to happen.
Don’t get me wrong, i’d love as much as the next Celtic fan to see the tramps go under and out of business for good. But there is that wee sneaking feeling in the back of my head that they’ll come out this smelling of roses.
I do hope i’m wrong.

Every Tim out there has the self same niggling feeling that they will be saved.
Normally I would have been thinking the way you are, not now.
It’s not what has been said, it’s what’s not been said, the blogs are full of all the relevant info, the media are keeping schtum, they know, as we all do, the end game is upon us.
I got a mail this morning from my mate in Dublin, all it said was Woollworth and Lehmans, that was the clincher for me, he has invested his kids inheritance on a venture to take us away from where we are.
Hi there guys, bit off topic and don’t know if anyone has brought this up. Shocking article about the Terry/Ferdinand and Evra/Juarez incidents. Astounded to think that a journalist would be able to publish and article that clearly states to just get on with it if you are subjected to racism ! I’m not saying that the accusations over the last couple of weeks are true but to tell them and put the point across to others that they should just get on with it! Ridiculous,

Have to disagree with you. You say that yours is a long post. I have been reading the RTC blog from the beginning – indeed I was sure that it was going to be removed from the net so I saved it at regular intervals.
At times I felt I had a good understanding of the Rangers’ situation and at other times I felt I had none. I have learned to ignore occasional posters who ask silly questions which clouded my comprehension. These in turn are answered by others who have a less than clear grasp of the issues. I now restrict myself to a few knowledgeable key posters – including yourself.
Tonight’s post from you is a very succinct and easy to follow and accurate summary of the issues facing Rangers’. And it was, shall we say, not short but concise!
Well done (again)
PS I have saved the post!
The £10- £5 wasnt banter as keevins puts it. It was, weve got our jack boot on your throat and you’ll stay down there. They didnt even have the effin tenner!!

Numbers don’t lie and Dignity will go down the pan, only the timing is an issue….
the new company will be based above a laundrette , somewhere in Hemel Hempstead, Dignity fans will trash their own ground attempting to string up CW, and there will be a riot in Granton on Spey ,as more Dignity supporters surround CW castle, one or two narrowly escaping drowning by clinging on to a large drum ……..
all reported by Catriona Shearer on RS with a mass protest outside the BBC by Dignity fans ……….we will be passed us over to Judith for the weather and then CS will wish everyone a good evening ……. before being smuggled out the building …….
…… hope it happens on Friday back up the road on Thursday night , would not want to miss out……

I’ve read the relevant blogs out there mate, and i’ve taken in the info as well as i can and on the face of it they shouldn’t be around come November. But in the light of day i can’t see how the SFA and SPL would let them go under, but if it was us, then we all know the answer already….
Loved this post from earlier today.
Felt it was well worth repeating:-

As Friday approaches it will begin to feel like childhood again. Will they stay afloat? Can they meet the wages? ‘
‘It’s friday, it’s five o’clock, and it’s Crackerjack!’ Yup, I expect Stewpot to present the BBC Scotland News live from Ibroke and have all sorts of games for kids to play to raise money for the Orc players’ wages.
I also expect a bit of hand-wringing from some in the Celtic support feeling bad about Hun employees losing their jobs.
I’ve tried to accept that in a compassionate humane fashion but, y’know, take the Devil’s buck and all that…
If it were us, they’d be throwing sash-bashes everywhere.
Above all, there will be an interesting decline in Hunfiltrators on this blog.
Expect to see confident, snide and mischevious posts gradually descend into bitter abusive rants and then, as reality hits them like the tons of ugly bricks in the crumbling Ibroke facade, no more than long vowel-riddled wails…
And even if Friday passes without drama, I’ve waited long years since standing in the Jungle listening to the hordes of Satan bait us, wincing at the horrible wall of sound which punctured the millisecond silence after they scored against us, watching their silver-spooned fatboy pompous-ass of a chairman mock our spending power, reading the gushing sycophancy of the Hun meeja; long years waiting for what’s coming…
…Long years relishing the day those servile, witless, wretched bigots tasted the cold karmaic dish of bitterest sweet revenge served up by the will of a million gold-hearted faithful suffering Tims past and present…Long, long years.
And now we’re nearly there. And I can’t wait.
I think Moran is a speculative investor!
Knows the end is nigh …
Those two names are far more appealing to the Orc hoardes than rankers united
I see the boy selling those names off!
Prospector of the darkside!
Good on him!! I would feel dirty owning those myself!!

And here was me thinking that his suspension following the Hearts red card had something to do with it.
Silly me
Oh! and timbhoy, Neil picked him to play in the Hearts match after those rumours had surfaced.
Will you really say nothing if Commons is picked to play tomorrow night or at the weekend?
pauloantony..,
I think that would be insider dealing ???, I expect he is representing someone at the begging bowl.
