WATCH AGAIN: A BUNCH OF FIVES ON FLAG DAY

NICOLAS KUHN and Adam Idah hit doubles as Celtic claimed their fourth successive title, their thirteenth flag in 14 years and the 55th crown in their illustrious history.

The champions were unstoppable as they romped to a 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice, a venue where they fired blanks in a scoreless stalemate just before the turn of the year.

However, Brendan Rodgers’s team were at full throttle on Tayside on this occasion as they fired five past the overworked Jack Walton.

NUMBER FIVE…Adam Idah celebrates after making it 5-0 as Celtic prepare to celebrate a fourth successive title. Dundee United keeper Jack Walton is helpless yet again.

The visitors took the lead on the half-hour mark when Ryan Strain diverted the ball into his own net as he attempted to clear a Liam Scales header that was hurtling in the direction of the lurking Filipe Jota at the right-hand post.

That deflection opened the floodgates and Scotland’s title kings turned on the afterburners with Kuhn firing in two more before the turnaround.

Idah, who had replaced the limping Jota in the 35th minute, completed the job with a close-range header and a whiplash low shot to make the final score 5-0 and hoist the Hoops’ Premiership goal tally for the season to 102.

It’s worth a second look, courtesy of those good folk at Celtic TV Unique Angle.
