WATCH AGAIN: CELTS AT THE DOUBLE

0

CELTIC set themselves up for part two of the Hibs double bill when they won 2-0 at Easter Road yesterday.

The team lock horns again in the Premier Sports League Cup at Parkhead on Sunday.

However, Brendan Rodgers’ men put down a marker in Edinburgh – only the second time the Irishman has emerged victorious in six visits to the Leith venue.

He broke the hoodoo in February when Adam Idah thumped in two from the penalty spot in a last-gasp 2-1 triumph.

There was no late drama on this occasion as the champions fired in two first-half goals – one started and completed by Nicolas Kuhn and the other a sensational strike from Callum McGregor that ripped past Joe Bursik as the Hoops chalked up their second consecutive league success of the new campaign.

The victory sees Celtic sit in their accustomed place at the Premiership pinnacle on goal difference from Aberdeen.

The goals are worth a second look courtesy of those good folk at Celtic TV Unique Angle.
