CELTIC performed with the never-say-die spirit of champions for third game in succession as they came back in ferocious fashion to overcome Kilmarnock 3-2 at Rugby Park.
Following a mystifyingly feeble first-half performance that saw them go in two goals adrift at the turnaround, a rejuvenated Hoops team reappeared for the second period.
And that was when the players displayed what Martin O’Neill’s team are all about.

CRASH! Sebastian Tounekti, an interval replacement for Yang Hyun-jun, sparked yet another spirited revival from the Parkhead men when he whipped in a spectacular 25-yard drive in the 56th minute to kick-start the comeback.
BANG! Benjamin Nygren claimed the equaliser – and his 16th goal of his debut campaign – when he pounced on some uncertainty in the opposition’s penalty box to clip an effort over Kelle Roos.
WALLOP! Julian Araujo joined the attack in the seventh minute of stoppage-time to hammer in the winner after Tomas Cvancara had picked up a left-wing throw-in from Marcelo Saracchi and fired over a low cross.
The title kings’ third successive fightback was complete as the Mexico international right-back set off to join the celebrating fans in the stand behind the goal.
