WATCH AGAIN: ELEVEN FROM HEAVEN

ARNE ENGELS claimed Celtic’s ELEVENTH goal in three domestic games when he made an immaculate job from the penalty spot in the 4-0 Premiership victory over Kilmarnock at Parkhead yesterday.

The smooth Belgian playmaker brought down the curtain on a crucial triumph as the champions closed to within seven points of Hearts with a game in hand.

Johnny Kenny, Kieran Tierney and Daizen Maeda also got on the scoresheet as the Hoops replicated the scoreline of Martin O’Neill’s first game back as interim manager against Falkirk.

On that occasion, Kenny hit a double with Benjamin Nygren and Sebastian Tounekti joining in.

And the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international striker was on target with a stunning first-half header in the 3-1 extra-time Premier Sports League Cup semi-final victory over Rangers at Hampden the previous weekend.

Callum McGregor and Callum Osmand got the job done in added-on time.

Remarkably, the Hoops have now collected just two goals short of the amount it took the side, with Brendan Rodgers in charge, EIGHT games to amass.

The team fired blanks in three encounters in that sequence.

There was little chance of a scoreless display against Killie and the performance is worth a second look courtesy of those good folk at Celtic TV Unique Angle.
