WATCH AGAIN: THREE CHEERS AS DAIZEN STOOPS TO CONQUER

CELTIC had to call on reserves of courage and determination to achieve three points in the topsy-turvy confrontation against Motherwell at Parkhead yesterday.

It was a day of seesawing emotions for the champions and the supporters as the Hoops scored the opener just before the half-hour mark, saw the visitors draw level before the interval and then go in front early in the second-half.

Nerve-ends were frazzled by the time substitute Benjamin Nygren seized on a sloppy pass from keeper Calum Ward and thrashed in the 69th minute equaliser.

The game was deadlocked as the action went into stoppage-time.

It looked as though the hosts were about to shed two valuable points for the second consecutive weekend until the dramatic conclusion.

Arne Engels slid a pass to Michel-Ange Balikwisha and the Belgian’s pinpoint cross to the near post was met by a diving Daizen Maeda who thumped a header into the inviting net for the winner.

It was an afternoon of frantic, hectic moments and is well worth a second look courtesy of those good folk at Celtic TV Unique Angle.

Please enjoy!
