IT WAS Celtic to the four for the second successive outing in their USA tour as they overcame Manchester City 4-3 in North Carolina this morning.

Brendan Rodgers watched his side get off to the perfect start on the trip in Washington at the weekend when they strolled to a 4-0 victory over MLS outfit DC United.

On that occasion in the American capital, Matt O’Riley claimed a double with Mikey Johnston and James Forrest rounding off the scoring in the second-half.

JOY BHOYS…Matt O’Riley, Reo Hatate and Nicolas Kuhn celebrate in North Carolina.

On the Battle of Britain occasion between the Scottish and English champions, it was German winger Nicolas Kuhn who claimed two first-half strikes.

Kyogo Furuhashi got off the mark in The States with a third just before the interval and Luis Palma, supported by what appeared to be thousands of his Honduras countrymen among the Hoops following, rolled in the fourth and winning goal 15 minutes from the end.

Now it’s onto Indiana on Saturday evening for a meeting with Chelsea.

Can we dare hope for another four-goal show from Rodgers’ rampant side?
