Watching players on the edge

1018

I like watching a professional perform on the edge. We watched Anthony Stokes do just that at the Cup Final, where despite two superb goals from Gary Hooper, he was clearly head and shoulders above everyone else on the field. This has not always been the way for Anthony, so has too often failed to command a starting place, and live up to the form he promised all those years ago at Falkirk.

Celtic have put a contract in front of him but it will be considerably lighter than the contract Hooper has no intentions of signing. It’s very much up to Anthony now. Deliver and the riches will follow. Don’t bet against him.

Only just catching up on the somewhat demeaning promotion of a football club hiring a new team bus. Every time I see the coach/manager at that club, buses, or to be more precise, Blakey, from On the Buses comes to mind. These people lend themselves to parody so unselfishly.

Coach/Manager

Inspector Blakey

The fascinating part is, only one of the two above was trying to be ridiculous. You enjoy another day of being a Celtic fan.

Yup a short term measure that will come at a later cost. The spivs are just waiting for the ticket money to keep them going to the day they can sell and its so long and thanks for the fish.

I think the latest CF material showing the questions that The Insolvency Service apparently want CW to answer is very interesting and should give our Ticketus experts a field day

Lots to chew over in there but this one caught my eye.

14.Why was no payment made to HMRC in respect of the Small Tax Caseliability.

It was reported in September 2011 on BBC that a sum had been paid and in fact that £500k had found its way to HMRC. This was taken as true and appeared on blogs subsequently.

The source of that £500k payment is CW himself in a letter dated xx/Sept. 2011 to the SFA in respect of the 30th September Licence checkpoint which the SFA asked for as part of the licensing checks on 19th September.

CF thought nothing had been paid and this seems to be the confirmation that it was all part of an elaborate device to take the SFA on a ride they were not unhappy to step off in order to get and keep that licence.

    Spies r US

    US bugged EU offices

    Not completely surprised

The US controls most of the internet and the major global social media platforms, that’s a lot of information passing their way, too much to ignore by the looks of things.

The UK could be caught up in this EU spy scandal its spymasters are best buddies with the American spies

Judging by this Channel 4 documentary spies even move into your house posing as friends and lovers

beginning to think that’s the plan, as no one has come out with a rallying call to buy sbs and they are still spending big style, as if they want another insolvency, no one knows how much is left of the original share issue, and if they can hold out till December they would be able to offload any shares left, I think that’s when somebody like king could step in and the sfa would probably welcome him with open arms, the the rangers formed, no more spivs, Bleasdales gone? and to many people still of the opinion they need rangers at any cost? They would be telling anyone who would listen its not their fault they had been conned again, cue watp they don’t do walking merry go round starts again?

So – if you were being cynical (ahem) – this getting loads of players in now is so they can get a big lead, go into admin and still win the league? Wouldn’t be so easy next year in Div 1….

Don’t be surprised to see this new super-dooper SPFL go lenient on points deductions for admin!

There was a recent Dr Who story in which everyone loggin’ onto the ole internet got their brains sucked dry by a big brainsucking machine.

I’m beginning to think that’s what the not too distant future has in store for us.

‘The Doctor manages to find another version of Clara in the present day, where Miss Kizlet (Celia Imrie) is unleashing “Spoonheads” into the Wi-Fi to upload people’s souls to a datacloud, claiming to be preserving humanity on behalf of her mysterious client. The Doctor saves Clara from this fate and tricks Miss Kizlet and her employees at The Shard to returning all the souls back to their bodies. It is revealed to the audience that the Great Intelligence (using Walter Simeon’s image) had been behind the scheme to grow stronger by feeding on the souls; he erases all memory of working for him from the employees’ minds, effectively making them innocent of any wrong-doing. The Doctor invites Clara to be his companion, but she requests that he come back the next day; she wants time to think about it.’

I think the league brought in new rules that recognised 10 points was not enough. It was discussed not sure if implemented.

No its not the leagues that will want them to continue (although they obviously will) its the illusion that it is a going football business that will keep shares high enough so that CG and co can do walking away with a guid few bob in their pockets.
