RONNY DEILA watched as Celtic dismantled Dundee and then said: “We can beat anyone now.”
The Hoops boss is convinced the SPFL champions have at last turned the corner as they zero in on silverware.
Deila said: “There is a lot of confidence running through the team now.
“I see it in training every day. Everything is now done quicker and quicker. I know there is more to come, too.
“We can beat anyone now. I really mean that.
“I was very pleased with this win and I am so proud of the boys.
“We had a very important game against The Rangers last week. It was a game with a Cup Final place at stake and we made no mistake.
“Then we had to do it one more time in the Scottish Cup away from home today.
“Once again, the boys have delivered. The attitude and the energy from the players is very good. We looked extremely sharp.
“Dundee just couldn’t cope with the tempo.
“We produced a lot of chances and we should have scored more goals. Having said that, we were very solid at the back.
“Of course, it is very important to be able to build from the back and to be secure there.
“We scored goals early in both halves, but if we hadn’t got those goals I’m sure we would just have pushed harder.
“We knew the goals would come.
“Now we will see who we get in the quarter-finals of the competition when the draw is made on Monday.”
