CAMILO DURAN was more than pleased to play an enormous role in Celtic’s must-win Premiership encounter against Falkirk at Parkhead yesterday.
The Hoops’ confidence was on the floor following the incomprehensible Champions League play-off exit in Austria during the week.
John McGlynn’s side arrived in the east end of Glasgow sensing there was an opportunity to pile the misery on a team still bitterly disappointed to miss out in the next stage of European football’s most prestigious competition.

The champions went into the game without captain Callum McGregor, who had a stomach bug, and injured £11million-plus record signing Kasper Hogh.
Duran was switched from his usual berth on the right wing to lead the attack and he responded superbly with a first-half double to set the team up for their third successive league victory to keep them three points ahead of Hearts.
Afterwards, the beaming livewire raiser, speaking to CelticPlayer, said: “We had a good game here at home.
“We came off the back of a poor result, so we needed a good response and that’s what we had.
“After the result during the week, we had to lift our heads and kick on. Now we need to rest and focus on the next game.”
Aberdeen provide the opposition at Parkhead on Wednesday evening when Duran is standing by to take the pivotal role again if Hogh is still ruled out.
