DUTCH dazzler Arjen Robben has warned Celtic that Bayern Munich will kill off any Hoops’ hopes of reaching the next stage of the Champions League.
The winger reckons the Bundesliga giants will overcome Brendan Rodgers’side following Carlo Ancelotti’s sacking last week after their 3-0 flop against Paris Saint-Germain.
Robben insists: “We must forget the game against PSG now. It is in the past.
“We have two very big games coming up against Celtic, who have just had a very good win themselves. We must be focused and ruthless.
“The ambition has to be to win those two games – and if we do we will put ourselves in a very good position to progress out of the group.
“Celtic are going to be full of confidence and I have played enough British teams to know that we can expect a physical battle, that is why we must find our killer instinct again.
“Even in our game against Anderlecht, we were not ruthless enough. It sounds good to win 3-0 in the Champions League, but we should have made our one-man advantage count and scored more.
“We need to bring that aggression and ruthlessness back into our game and win games by as many goals as possible.
“We have not lost hope of winning the group. PSG have, of course, made a great start and put themselves in a great position, but we are only two games in and still have to play them again.
“Though the only focus at the moment is winning the next game against Celtic.
“We are on the same number of points and the aim is to start pulling away from them.
“If we win the two games against Celtic, then we can start thinking about winning the group again.”
