An away game after a European away game is statistically the most likely time for a team to drop points, so I doubt Brendan Rodgers will tinker with his lineup too much at Ross County on Sunday. As well as three points there may be valuable information up for grabs again for Celtic.
Watch how County shut down space and try to frustrate Celtic. They will not pretend they are Brazil 1970; attacks by the home side will be infrequent and will never resemble the Light Brigade. There will be timewasting, play will be interrupted with fouls when a County player stops in his tracks in front of a running Celtic player.
No one in world football knows these tactics better than Celtic fans. We get to watch them pretty much every week. Even the elites do it. Borussia Dortmund qualified for the Champions League final after a win over PSG achieved with 30% possession and only 20% of the game’s attempts at goal.
If every day is a school day, let’s leave Dingwall on Sunday wiser and with three points.

Even if Paul67 is a prick,”
Dreadful comment. Says a lot more about its author than it does about Paul.
Scroll by if not interested…
Top Irish Trainer AIDEN O’BRIEN had FIVE Winners yesterday out of five runners. TWO Horses won at the CURRAGH, and the other THREE Won at LONGCHAMP in France.
I had the Five winners on the same Bookie line, and it paid out at accumulative odds of just over 55/1.
The EARLY odds that I took were….9/2, 11/4, 8/13, 1/3 and 1/3.
A PROFITABLE Return for my money.
AIDEN O’BRIEN has several runners Today again at LONGCHAMP and One in Tipperary. He has some Horses that are well fancied in the betting and some ” outsiders” also.
I have some of AIDENS FANCIED Horses Today in Bets, along with some of his Winners from yesterday.
Fingers crossed for a good day again ?
LOL.

Only 2:45 mins `till we can begin to lose the unpleasant feelings of Dortmund.
Hail ! Hail !
Well done, Jimmy!
( and good luck for today).
Leaving aside the Horse Bets for a moment….
As long as CELTIC Win Today v Ross County….that is my MAIN concern.
Hopefully the Celtic Bhoys can dish oot a hammering to Ross County Today ?
Maybe, all the Celtic players will be very angry today from the 1st whistle, after the midweek defeat in Germany ?

Well done, Jimmy!
( and good luck for today).
………
Thank you HOT SMOKED for your good wishes.
Further Horse winners Today will be an added Bonus ?

Today`s forecast for our game:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2651245
I tend to think that a lack of wind suits our quick-passing game.
Three points is very much the main objective today.
Brendan’s trademark 4-3-3 for me too, I like Bada Bing’s suggested intro and full debut for Luke McCowan in the three. One, or two bound to be a bit leggy, Kyogo should be raring to go ( did he touch the ball in Germany? ) Time to unleash wee Jamesie for his dinner, well earned rest for star man Nicolas Kuhn who can stretch his legs on the 60 minute mark.
………………Schmeichel…………………
Johnston – Trusty – Scales – Valle
Engels – Calmac – McCowan/Hatate
Forrest – Kyogo – Maeda
Ross County 0 Celtic 5
As ever CSC
BSR
I like that midfield:
Engels – Calmac – McCowan
but I think BR will go with Hatate while up front I think Kuhn is his more likely choice ( and maybe even idah over Kyogo).
Slow on here for a match day.
Still getting over Tuesday?
Waiting to snatch a podium?
Taking Ross County for granted?
Worried about Ross County?
Cheerio for now.
Good morning Celtic Quick News…….

are some so bitter to abuse our host???? Low-brow name-calling and bad language?
The twin-centre blog tourists should take a hard look in the mirror.

live updates up
Over the next few months we play Ross County three times, not their fault of course, they have done well to stay in the SPL, no, a consequence of our Old Firm centric league structure. We’ll play Aberdeen three times too, in a shorter time frame, but one of them is a League Cup semi-final. Speaking of which the Dons are at home to Hearts, who did better without a manager during the week, but even so I’ve predicted a home win, so we need a win to see us through yet another interminable International break, (sumdy needs to take UEFA/FIFA to court over these games) and to stay top until we actually play the Dons at Celtic Park in a fortnight in what Paul67 will undoubtedly bill as a title showdown.
Yep; no place for nasty slurs about our blog host, Paul.
It’s possible to find favour and fault in the blogs he writes – as I oscillate between – but no need for the teenage insults shirley.
Looking to see how wee Josh Nisbet (5′ 2″) from Oz fares against our midfield maestros too.
We’ll beat them by 2 clear goals methinks.
Am in Edinbra today with the Mrs, kids and dog Anyone recommend a good boozer to watch the match and mibbie grab a wee bite to eat? Dog friendly would be a bonus. Kitty’s is fine with the dog but no food = no kids :(
