DEREK McINNES’ agony continued as his strugglers were knocked out of the Europa League at Ibrox tonight.
The Poles of Jagiellonia Bialystok dumped the Govan club into the Conference League following the 1-1 draw to give them a 3-2 aggregate victory in a dramatic qualifier.
McInnes, who quit Hearts at the end of the season to take over from Danny Rohl, is still awaiting his first win after four games in charge.
He kicked off with a 1-1 Premiership draw against Dundee United at Tannadice before losing 2-1 in Poland a week ago.
The misery was extended in the league at Ibrox on Sunday when Hibs won 2-1 with a late strike from Callum Wright.

They went into the tie this evening under pressure, but took the lead following a VAR interruption after former Celtic defender Yuki Kobayashi was adjudged to have used a hand at a right-wing cross.
It was a controversial decision, but it didn’t prevent Lawrence Shankland from scoring his first goal for the club via the spot.
However, the visitors, who had hit a post early in the tie, levelled on the night in the 65th minute when Nik Prelec headed in at the far post following a delivery wide on the left.
McInnes was booked in the 73rd minute for vehemently complaining after Ryan Naderi went down following a challenge from Kobayashi.
It was a fitting finale foe another grim outing for the new boss.
It could get even worse for McInnes on Sunday at the same venue if they lose to St Mirren and exit the Premier Sports League Cup.
