‘WEE MAN WILL GET HIS BIG BREAK,’ PREDICTS BROONY

1
CELTIC skipper Scott Brown has told Callum McGregor to keep performing and his big break will come for Scotland.
Gordon Strachan named six Hoops stars in his World Cup squad for next month’s games against Lithuania and Malta, but there was no place for the in-form midfielder.
Brown said: “I broke the news to Callum. I told him to enjoy his days off!
“He might get a holiday, a wee bit of sun to make sure those wee white legs of his get a tan.

“The Wee Man will keep working hard. The manager, Gordon Strachan, knows him, he’s been up to a lot of our games and has watched him play.

“We do have a lot of competition in the middle no matter which formation the gaffer plays, so Callum will keep scoring goals, creating chances and doing what he does for us.

“His time will come for Scotland. But it doesn’t just happen like that, you have to work hard, which he’s doing.

“He’s trying to improve all parts of his game. He’s also working with a great manager in Brendan Rodgers who will push him in the right direction.

“He might be in the next squad.”
