‘WE’LL HAVE TO BEWARE BAYERN AT HOME,’ GORDON
CELTIC keeper Craig Gordon expects Bayern Munich to prove to be extremely difficult again when they arrive at Parkhead in 12 days’ time.
The Hoops No.1 had to pick the ball out of the back of his net three times in the Champions League loss at the Allianz Arena last night and has now conceded eight goals in three group games.
Gordon was busy against the Bundesliga giants with the Germans having 12 shots on target compared to the visitors’ three – all in the second-half.
It was their second heavy defeat of the competition having already conceded five at home to Paris Saint-Germain last month.
But the Scotland international insisted his team-mates will be able to create more and pose a stronger challenge in front of their own support on October 31.
He said: “It’s always different at home.
“We’re still up against a top quality team and it will still be difficult, even at Parkhead, to take anything from the game.
“But we will analyse this and see what we can do better.
“It’s difficult to stop the quality that they’ve got getting chances. That may still be the same, but we’ll pose a threat at the other end and make it a good game.”
