JULIAN ARAUJO will go down in history as flop boss Wilfried Nancy’s only signing for Celtic.
The Mexico international right-back arrived on a short-term loan deal from Bournemouth only three days before the Frenchman was sacked.
Araujo made a 64th minute appearance as a substitute for Luke McCowan in the 3-1 derby loss to Danny Rohl’s side at Parkhead at the weekend.

IN WITH A SHOUT…Julian Araujo is hoping to impress Martin O’Neill.
And the 22-year-old former Barcelona star must wonder if he will figure in Martin O’Neill’s first-team plans as the Irishman returns for his second interim period this season after originally answering the SOS to step in following Brendan Rodgers’ resignation in late October.
Anthony Ralston featured in all of O’Neill’s seven wins in eight games, starting five and coming on as a second-half substitute in the others.
Colby Donovan was a bit-part player before getting the nod to be in at the kick-off for O’Neill’s final two outings, the 2-1 win over Hibs at Easter Road and the 1-0 victory over Dundee at Parkhead.
The stand-in gaffer, now in his third spell at the champions after initially arriving in the summer of 2000 for a five-year stay, will revert to his tried and trusted back-four formation.
Is there a place in the line-up for Araujo who did look lively during his near half-hour against the Ibrox outfit?
All will be revealed when O’Neill announces his matchday squad for the visit of Dundee United on Saturday.
