What say you now, Mr Bryson?

Scottish Football Association.
Articles of Association.
Powers of the Board of the SFA.
56, (8).

“It [the Board]shall have power to enquire into all and any financial arrangements between recognised football bodies, clubs and players and to cancel any agreement between clubs and players contrary to the Articles and to publish in the public press or otherwise the findings of the Board in this regard and the substance of any and all evidence tendered in such enquiries.”

“It shall have the power

“to enquire into all and any financial arrangements

“between recognised football bodies, clubs and players

“and to cancel any agreement between clubs and players contrary to the Articles”.

While the prolonged HMRC inquiry into Rangers played out in public, the Scottish Football Association had the power to enquire into what was going on and rule accordingly.  They chose not to.

Mr Bryson is the executive charged with this responsibility.  He did nothing.  Then his evidence to the Commission determined the outcome and effectively cleared his earlier inaction. In SFA parlance, this is “heavily conflicted”.

What say you now, Mr Bryson?

It was always rather curious that the SPL convened the Commission, not the SFA, which is the registration body.  Had it been the SFA, the first route of appeal would be to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).  CAS ruled against Mr Bryson’s interpretation of proper registration when the Swiss FA registered Sion players, in line with the documentation submitted, but improperly.

If the SPL takes the matter to CAS it will win.

Celtic, and Celtic fans, cannot do anything alone.  We need to stand with other SPL clubs, or to be more specific, we need to stand with the fans of other SPL clubs in the first instance.  An SPL Fan Group is needed.  More on this later.

    Patience is indeed a virtue.

I’m not giving up hope that we are outie of the CL. I kept banging on to my Son (all the way up his Footballing ladder) that the Greatest moments in Football (Life) happen when you never give up. I’m not saying we will go through but a 2-1 win will be monumental for the future of Glasgow Celtic at that stage.

The Hampden Poodles are so conditioned to responding to His Masters Voice that they are still fighting its cause although nothing remains but its ashes.

Mr Bryson is only the face of a systemically corrupt and dishonest instituion.

It is the institution we should have issue with, not the individual.

It takes only one bam to send this guy an abusive e-mail/tweet/text and we will be portrayed as no different to the dog whistlers of Mordor.

I’m really enjoying watching my team in a ‘sporting integrity’ environment, and want that to continue…..

Thanks. I was aware of the hisory of it all, but it is so rancid of the empire & imperialism that it honks. As we both know, it does give all the Home associations a seat at the big table that frankly, they no longer deserve.

Were it not for the Sky bonanza English football would be in the toilet with no Sheiks, Asians or Oligarchs showing any interest. Bankrupt & liquidated clubs would be the norm.

As for the other three associations, least said the better.

Welcome, and you think the corruption STOPS at Scotland.

They are the Leeds Utd of Scotland a bitter and twisted trainwreck of a club they’ll never be back they’re too far gone the war is over the rebels have won no matter what the Brysons or LNS’s of this world do to dig them out the shit they’re finished and deep down they know it that’s why they lash out defiant till the end. But you know what OUR REVENGE WILL BE THE LAUGHTER OF OUR CHILDREN. Keep the faith Bhoys and Ghirls!

  9. Paul67 ok to target Bryson ; he has taken instructions from RC Ogilvie ( who has joked that he was the only RC at Ibrox).

I have been very critical of John Fleming ( Dallas no 2 ) ; from my contacts he has tic leanings ( ex BT guy who was more a linesman than a ref) ; however RC OG has a coffee with him to discuss weekend referring appointments. RC OG is a lot more subtle than Peat and can influence Fleming…..just like Bryson

Ps. Do you think it would be a good idea if Celtic would do something to honour Caesar at this stage in his life. Some good meaning Celtic fans have discussed , maybe it needs the club to step in. We all owe that team in Lisbon something….especially King Billy
