What would Neil Do?

491

It all starts for real next week but, unlike most previous Celtic managers who finds significant interest in his star player, Neil Lennon is pretty chilled when talking about the player moving on.  I want to keep Victor, he reminds me of a young Keane (Roy), Neil will want to keep him too, but you have to wonder, what the manager would do with some cash to spend.

Only just catching up with CQN and the UK media, is anyone still interested in the big ball game?  Delighted to hear the man from Dunblane got his just rewards.  The excellent BBC documentary on him two weeks ago touched on issues you and me and not qualified to touch on here, but there is a great humanity story wrapped up in his achievement.

Our paucity of sporting genetic raw material is apparently untrue.  From a (temporary) distance it’s evident he has branded the Scots better than any grappling politician ever could.

in fact a game of kerbie between Cameron and Salmond seems the fairest way to decide the ole independence debate.

THey could play it across a road that straddles the border.

  2. While not being anti Celtic as such bloggers abuse me you have to realise the difference in Celtic plc and Celtic fc

If we sell big vic. Celtic plc will get approx 10m. Celtic fc and our estimed manager will get about 4m of that to buy a replacement

I know what I prefer. A 12 player in big vic trying to fill our massive hole in midfield

I think you’ll find your accusations of abuse are rooted in your oft choices of phrase in your posts that are suspiciously aimed at riling and upsetting folk. I have never seen any positive contribution from you and your modus operandi is to fling dirt and then get upset by those that respond in kind to you.

Perhaps you might want to consider the timeless peach that you only get what you give.

    Has the season started yet???????????

  6. Bourne et al,

I have known to do double doubles at kirby and along with the auld 5 staines, I believe I’m the Sottish champion, possibly world champion due to the restrictions of kerbs in Africa and South America :>)

Now imagine way back in 2011that Conor Niland had progressed past the first round of Wimbledon and had been fortunate enough to go all the way to the final. Now Mary McAleese turns up at the said final to cheer on the said Niland and he is fortunate enough to win it,so somebody sticks a tri-colour in the hands of Mary and she waves it about a couple of times. I imagine the scenario would have had the usual suspects doing cartwheels and nobody would would have said a dicky bird about political point scoring

  8. Vhman me too as Neil and us will see little of that cash

Paul young song :). See above. I want our top class midfielder to stay and help us to CL again:))))). if we get a banana skin in final qualifier I fear for our midfield Just saying like

Victor’s ambition is obviously to play for one of the EPL’s top four. He is quoted as saying his preference is Arsenal.

Is his quickest route there to stay with us for another year and get more exposure on the European stage, or play for a mid table EPL team for a season and then move on? That would seem to be the question he is asking himself right now.

See when Paul says he’s going away and leaving CQN more or less to run itself, can people not self-police a wee bit better with regard to site’s rules?

Do we need a monitor all day every day?

I can never quite understand the presence of the military around centre court. In fact they are stationed at the front door, back door, dressing rooms and outside the cludgie.

You’d think a couple of iconic London bobbies would do for this famous gig.

It also kinda sends a message to the watching world audience that England has probably been the most warmongering nation post 1066.

And come to think of it, I’m surprised the huns have caught on to this and exploited the forces again, by posting a soldier at the tunnel on match days.

Showing my age now but I just got a vision of Sad Sac at the KKK arena.

Younger cqnr’s google it for a giggle.

Agree about Salmond as an individual , as for Independance – I need more details . The details we need to make an informed choice are not being given to us .

Anyway , I thought my earlier post about my visit to the Brother Walfrid memorial in Ballymote Co.Sligo today would have prompted a few responses – how wrong can you be .
