It was theoretically possible someone could have bid for Rangers today but it was always more likely that interim-managers, Duff and Phelps, would get offers that were dependent on a remarkably positive upside.
Sure, if HRMC get their bums handed to them on a plate by the First Tier Tribunal (FTT), Craig Whyte decides to tear up his security on Ibrox and Ticketus forget where they put the contract of sale for the next three years season tickets, even I’d bid for them. Not much, though, I’m only interested in Waitrose Park out at Milngavie.
There is nothing Duff and Phelps can do about the FTT but wait for the verdict. It might report in their favour. If so, it’s game on and they will surely invite offers for sale again, until then, they will have to shuffle paper and look busy.
No one has been able to shift Craig Whyte’s security or offered to buy Ibrox from him, so he is the only real bidder for Rangers and I don’t think he even bid today. Our old friend Game Theory would have us busy planning for a scenario when he exercises his power in this game. Ostracising him might encourage him to walk away, or it might force him to dig his heels in.
Game Theory would also suggest we don’t play poker when we know the other guy has four aces, they don’t often walk away.
Pay the man or find a way of telling yourself he’s not that bad after all.

Sunshine on a rainy administrators day.
That’s the problem, and the problem with that is it causes problems in the future and we all know the problems that can cause.

No probs mate, let me know when i need to get u money

fair point petec, although I tend to feel as a support we are well endowed with style and taste. More seriously, we are better placed to cope with diverse opinions, viewpoints, and taste in pre-match tunes – you should hear some of the stuff that’s been on our bus!
Examples…
Moichael Moichael
When Jackie was made captain
But yes you’re right, what unites is all is Celtic, so Celtic songs are best. My most pleasant surprise I’ve ever heard played at Celtic Park was The King. Think it was a significant anniversary of his death, or possibly his birthday. Played it at half-time and the place fell silent as they realised who and what it was. Beautiful.

Posted at the end of last post then realised yous had moved :))))))
Brilliant post mate, also made me laugh as I also threw 40 fags and a lighter into the auld mans grave. My old man was a class act, used to tell everyone (who would listen) his nickname was ‘The Sash’ because he was old but beautiful. My Da and Grandfather (Paddy Gallagher) from Bundoran used to give it laldy on Paddies day, it would be rude not to continue the family tradition.:-)
All the best to you and yours.

Kojo,
Thanks m8,
Lenny is growing in stature when you are ok with him selecting whoever. ;) and that makes me feel GOOD.
I think it is fair to say that you are over demanding but I realise where you are coming from.
I’ll settle for the 1-0 but will put a wee bet on Celtic winning by 5 goals.

St Patricks day 1981.
Bobby sands last entry in his diary.
“If they aren’t able to destroy the desire for freedom, they won’t break you. They won’t break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show.
It is then we’ll see the rising of the moon.”
