Celtic are on an unaccustomed run of one win (Dundee United) in four games. There were encouragements in the other three matches, but winning is a habit and we need to get back into that mindset as soon as possible.
There are two games before we face Hibernian again, this time in the Scottish Cup quarterfinal, our most important game currently scheduled. Reinvigorated Aberdeen’s visit to Celtic Park tonight is the perfect game to get our processes back on track.
The Dons have won three consecutive games for the first time since before we destroyed them in the League Cup semifinal in November. Wins over Dunfermline, Dundee and Kilmarnock were far from convincing, but the ship is steadied, and as we discussed, habits form.
Our worst fears were confirmed yesterday when Newco appointed Scotland’s other managerial great named Ferguson – Barry – as interim manager. He is the perfect antidote for whatever that last guy was missing. Shouting in a Lanarkshire accent and returning chips to their rightful place as a canteen staple, I think.
Ferguson was one of the best Scottish midfielders of his generation and brought a control to games which cost Celtic on many occasions. As a manager, he has a consistent record. Celtic fans are now split two ways: do we want him to impress, and keep the job next season, or do we want him to lose?
Aye, I know. We’re not really split.

nay nay and thrice nay.
an over rated, ebt falsely renumerated, improperly registered allowed to cheat rangers captain.
found out in europe, found out at blackburn , back to the original gers where the cheating continued,
in recent history, broonie and mcgregor, fletcher and mctominay, mcgiin and before them lambert and burnley,
the list goes on actually.
overrated, disruptive, indisciplined, i could argue he cost rangers the uefa cup, and scotland a world cup place.

quick fact check.
he played against our celts, in teams that often had full ebt’s, a total of 40 times.
he lost 19 of them and drew 7, scored only 3 goals.
if he wasnt getting arrested for brawling when his team was beaten, he was closing down the popinjay and declaring himself bankrupt.
right aff oot.
another wee historical double for the bazza,
he starred in both the 5-1 lubo/henrik show and the 6-2 game.
that is some controlling the game right there.
Stivs – thanks for the stats.
So, no fan then…..🤣

Shinnie and Neilsen (No6) in midfield for Dons, a pair of thugs.
Taylor not in the squad.
Maybe he was injured on Saturday🤔
No taylor in the squad tonight
I believe GT’s omission is family related.
Hope it goes well for him and his family if that’s the case.
