Ticketus, one of Rangers three major creditors, Craig Whyte and HM Revenue and Customs, being the others, have announced they will no longer work with the Blue Knights (or it is Blue Knight) consortium in an effort to buy Rangers.
Ticketus were crucial to Duff and Phelps hopes of being able to acquire Craig Whyte’s shares in Rangers. Although anyone who actually listened to Mr Whyte will know how unlikely this was, their withdrawal from the process formally brings an end to this fantasy.
Without Rangers shares, Duff and Phelps cannot sell the club. Mr Whyte also has security over Ibrox stadium, so they cannot sell the stadium either.
Some weeks ago suggestions were leaked to the media that Ticketus had agreed to forgive all but £10m of their debt. It was even suggested this figure would be repayable on easy terms. Now the company will take their place alongaspirationsside other creditors. In the event Rangers remain in business long enough to sell tickets for next season, revenue from the first (circa) 25,000 tickets sold for each game goes directly to Ticketus.
The charade is over.
Those hoping to see a club resembling Rangers form in the future have had months to secure a stadium, club licence, stadium, players, stadium, and commercial infrastructure. Instead they have stalled, chasing an unattainable CVA.
There is no time left, there will be no CVA and the chances of a phoenix next season is increasingly remote.

So McCoist in a meeting with the Admins. was told a deal is very very close, but
that they didn’t reveal to him the name of the anonymous bidder.
For the love of God and for the sake of Sally and the whole of Scottish football….
Where is the goddam Transparency , He needs to know, he does, he just does, he simply needs to know the name.
Dump & Phlee need to watch it or Fatboy will be issuing another Fatwa if his
Demands for openness and transparency are not met.

I’m sure I read that Kennedy has previous for running a club into administration

If Kennedy is a ‘serious’ player, then why hasn’t he made a ‘serious’ bid?
Even Duff + Duffer laughed at his attempt to gain control
There is one thing the serial publicity junkie has been good at though, and that is stringing the delusional Hun support along that he is a ‘serious’ player
He is the male version of Michelle Mone ………
Ten Men Won The League, thanks for the response, as I said, just my take but isofar as the Kennedy thing goes, suppose we will just have to wait/see. IMHO though, he certainly has some credibility, irrespective of what OW said re comparisons!

Thought that ….so they appealed before they received the full info on why the decision had been made and “outed” the people who made the decision (using a procedure that they had agreed to) and are still crying about it .
If the appeal results in a change of outcome how can any Scottish football supporter have any faith in the SFA ( I’m not suggesting they do!) given the biggest factor in this decision, I would think, is that they’ve not paid PAYE this season and have not paid any football debt and have therefore gained an advantage.
Surely given this is fact, they cannot pick up any prize money for finishing 2nd this season.
Shameful outfit!

AGENT CRAIG 1442
Should we one day meet,I will tell you the story about the time I met Gascoigne in The Bluebell-honest-in Gateshead around 2pm on a Friday prior to a match.
In 1987,surrounded by hangers-on and relations, which amounted to the same thing really.
He didn’t stand a chance in the real world.
I don’t think he enjoyed having to use the physical side that playing for Rangers allowed him to do, I think he would have preferred to be the player he once had been.
Although there is no excuse apart fom being a simpleton for his behaviour on the pitch,it can be no fun realising how everything that made you who you are as a player has disappeared. Due to a shockingly bad tackle in a Cup-final.
And all because he didn’t have a brain, and neither did those around him.

And now we hear that His Royal Moistness denies that his statement from yesterday was an apology. “Far from it” is the quote.
I don’t anyone thought it was an apology Mr McCoist, mainly because you never used the word sorry or apologise.
If we look at the history of this administration issue, now that ticketus are out, it wont be long till theyre back in, its not that they are actually out, its just their turn to be out,
so in out in out and shake it all about
Lardo66 let them grab the below as it is what Paul has said from day one.
‘Any potential bidders will need to acquire Whyte’s 85% shareholding. This cannot be done without the help of Ticketus or the bidder faces a lengthy court battle.’
BOBBY MURDOCH’S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS – Always felt a bit sorry for Gazza.
Not his fault he’s a big eejit. A long and happy life doesn’t seem to be his path.
As for his raging alcoholism, wiser men than him have succumbed to the bottle. (thumbsup)

You want liquidation on the 21st just because it’s your birthday?
Ya selfish bassa,I’m prepared to move my birthday to whichever day it happens.
Guaranteed everyone on here will celebrate as though all of their birthdays have come at once!
RalphWaldoEllison,
Luther Pendragon is a communications company rather than a person. I was really disappointed when I found that out.
Whats mccoist doing bring Celtic into it , we all know if it was us in this situation the media , sfa and the Huns would have killed us off long before now.
One rule for them (cause they are special ) and another rule for the rest of us.
TheBarcaMole
Judging by his time at Stockport, I am actually now warming to the idea of him taking over :)

Do the admin men not have to still pay the full whack in tax and NI ?
Whatever, they are gone soon enough, happy days, who needs them anyways….
Hilarious interview in the Guardian with Allan McGregor. Best bit for me:
” I couldn’t care how much money you earn; if somebody takes three quarters of that away and then the tax man takes half of the quarter you have left, then you are going to struggle a bit.”
No wonder Allan was taken aback at the taxman taking a slice!
