YANG HYUN-JUN could miss TWO of Celtic crucial early Premiership encounters in the new season.
The South Korean World Cup winger has been selected as one of three over-age players for his country’s squad in the Asian Games which are due to take place in Japan.
The tournament will kick off in mid-September and run through to October 4 which means Yang will definitely miss the opening derby against Derek McInnes’ Ibrox side at Parkhead on Sunday September 20.

And with extensive travelling involved, he could also sit out the visit to Fir Park to take on Motherwell on Saturday October 10.
However, Yang, who signed a three-year extension at the champions in May, will be ready to go against Hearts in the east end of Glasgow the following weekend.
South Korea are the defending champions are scheduled to begin the event on September 15. Matches will be hosted across Osaka, Toyota, Nagoya and Kariya.
Reacting to Yang’s international call-up, Martin O’Neill, speaking to the Glasgow Times, admitted: “We might have to miss him for a number of weeks.”
