YANG HYUN-JUN has emerged as a January transfer target for Preston North End.
The in-form South Korean winger looked to be heading for Birmingham City in a £3million switch in the summer before the move collapsed.
Championship rivals Preston are now keen on the 23-year-old international, according to a report in The Herald.
However, the Deepdale side will be told there is NO chance of the wide Bhoy, who is under contract until June 2028, being allowed to leave the champions in this window.

PICK IT OUT…Yang Hyun-jun leaves keeper Jack Butland helpless with an unstoppable drive to give Celtic the lead in the derby at Parkhead on January 3.
Yang has been a rare Hoops success story this season and scored a memorable solo goal against Danny Rohl’s Ibrox club in the derby at Parkhead nine days ago.
That tremendous effort gave Wilfried Nancy’s side a half-time advantage before a wretched second-half showing presented the points to the visitors. It was the Frenchman’s sixth loss in eight games and brought a quickfire end to his 33 days in charge.
Interim gaffer Martin O’Neill fielded Yang from the start in the first game of his second comeback and once again the lively raider fired the hosts into the lead against Dundee United.
Thankfully, the Hoops added three more strikes via Arne Engels, Benjamin Nygren and Daizen Maeda to make sure there was no horror story on this occasion and three much-needed points were added to the tally in the club’s pursuit of a fifth successive title.
Yang is likely to be back in action when O’Neill takes his team to Falkirk on Wednesday night.
